What's the good and bad about Vice President Kamala Harris

As many of you already know, Kamala Harris is the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee. I liked her because I thought she did okay during her 2020 presidential campaign debates before she dropped out of that race. Most of the mainstream media have been hyping her up pretty good, as well. But I remembered that one must take a step back and consider both the negatives and positives of a candidate. A campaign and debates are sure to bring out those aspects.

I would like to find out VP Kamala's proposed policies, but so far it is non-existent on her web page - https://kamalaharris.com/.

I hate going to secondary sources to learn about policies. I hope that her campaign is working on publishing that information soon otherwise that would be bad.

If anyone can find a reliable source that has information on her policies, then feel free to post them.

As a voter that mostly goes off of policy, I have to admit that I'm disappointed that Kamala Harris and her campaign. RFK has policies on his page, Trump does, as well, but Kamala does not.

I can understand Kamala coming in late in the game, but it's been some time. If she doesn't want to be tied to Joe Biden or her past views, then the best way to avoid that is by putting her policies in writing and post them prominently on her page.

The Democrats are generally half-measure, while the Republicans are full-measure. So, checkmark for the Republicans, right?

No, I’m going to say half-measure is generally better. For the economy, especially. For a lot of life areas.

Not always. And I can’t prove it like a logical argument in school. And there most certainly will be exceptions.

But in general,

take medium steps in various life areas,

see what works well,

and roll from there.

I see the benefits of your point. It allows for flexibility. She has briefly touted some policies in her speeches here and there. I think there are also some negatives which I've alluded to in my last post.

ABC News is hosting the second presidential debate on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. It will be the first time Harris and Trump debate each other.

So I'm giving her a few days before the debate to have some official policy up before I start taking off points for my letter grade for her

RFK has policies on his page, Trump does, as well, but Kamala does not

The “About Kamala” section has policy written in the longish description, such as taking on Big Pharma over drug prices.

But, I agree with you.

Overall, it’s very disappointing. As much time as we spend working to educate ourselves, like on this very site here! It’s like the Harris website is asking for all of our heart, but not our head.

• even though I say, the heart and “emotional intelligence” is probably more important. And/or when logic disagrees with your gut feeling, proceed carefully.

Sept 10th feels early for a presidential debate.

But then I think in 2016, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton had a joint press conference on a Navy ship in port. That’s what I remember.

Interestingly, Joe Biden's campaign website is still up, and it gives his position on some issues. I'm sure Kamala still agrees with much of that since as VP it is part of her job to support and help bring about President Biden's agenda.

I'm also looking forward to see the debate between the two VP candidates. Those 2 candidates are very interesting. Some times they argue for the position of their running mate in a better way. Like Trump will probably be all over the place, and Kamala may not be as good going into details. Walz and JD Vance might make up for those deficiencies.

The VP debate will be on October 1, hosted by CBS News.

Sept 10th feels early for a presidential debate.

Debate is tomorrow, 9pm! I think Kamala has more to lose because people already know what Trump will bring to the table.
