And the fact this young man was shoot while answering a question about guns and shootings, just too coincidental. As if it was a set up.

If I was a judge, I’d be open to issuing a search warrant for the phone and computer of the person who asked the question. Who’s maybe innocent and needs to be assumed that way.

And/or other good ways to conduct a solid investigation.

I was at work when I heard about this shooting. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kirk and his family.

An MSNBC reporter was fired for comments he made following the death of Charlie Kirk. I actually agreed with some of it which I'll highlight below. I think what got this reporter fired is that he put the blame on Kirk, and the timing of doing that on live air was just terrible optics and messaging.

MSNBC has issued an apology and fired political consultant Matthew Dowd after comments he delivered shortly after the assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder and conservative activist Charlie Kirk that the broadcaster deemed inappropriate.

Dowd, appearing on the channel after the shooting, responded to a question about "the environment in which a shooting like this happens."

In response, Dowd said that Kirk has "been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures in this, who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech or sort of aimed at certain groups. And I always go back to, hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions."

The highlighted part is something that everyone involved in politics should keep in mind.

Because of the consequences of having a divided country, this is why I see it as an imperative to be non-partisan no matter how hard or unnatural it seems given the environment we're in now.
 
We need justice and some seal reflection. On the justice end, the shooter is still at large. Fortunately, people were recording. As the panned over the roof tops, a dark figure can be seen moving on a roof top.
