With Republicans you get one extreme, and with Democrats you get another.

You vote in Republicans to fix immigration, and they are heartless about it (deporting established hard working families - or plans to do that). You then let Democrats in, and their heart is too open about it and it's like they let too many immigrants in or make too easy to get in (catch and release asylum policies). Why can't we ever get more moderate common-sense solutions?

Could it be that there has to be a sharp divide between Dems and Republicans on major issues otherwise voters won't be galvanized for one side or the other? As if it's wrong if Americans could one day see both parties as being good the day that both parties dared to offer common sense (non-extreme made to divide) solutions, even if they end up being similar to one another?

We need an end to the partisan environment or we need to allow more political parties in there to hopefully dilute the polarization and partisanship. We don't need anyone party trying to take over.
